Eclipse, a gargantuan, spherical metal sculpture resting on a reflective pool at the cneter of the soaring atrium lobby welcomes guests coming to Hyatt Regency. The interiors is done according to feng shui principles by architect John Portman. The hallways face the atrium and act as indoor balconies for the guestrooms. The hotel majorly attracts business travelers and conventioneers. Leisure travelers stay over during weekends.

At dinner, the café becomes A Cut Above steakhouse, serving steaks, prime rib, and chops.
13 Views is the large bar and lounge next to the café serving specialty drinks and appetizers from mid-afternoon until 1 AM.
Equinox is northern California's only revolving rooftop restaurant and a popular destination for special-occasion dinners. The menu emphasizes Pacific Rim fare, but includes regional specialties such as Dungeness crab cakes, as well as steak and lobster. On Sundays, Equinox serves a champagne brunch, featuring a large buffet and jazz; brunch fee includes vouchers for a bay cruise.
